中文摘要 | 本研究之目的在了解國民中小學教師,對現行資賦優異學生教育所採行的各種措施之「重要性」、「執行成果」及「未來展望」等之看法如何。以自編「資賦優異學生教育問卷」,調查國小教師143人、國中教師117人、國小資優班教師63人及國中資優班教師35人。研究結果發現:(1) 國小資優班教師絕大多數已接受資優教育專業訓練,國中資優班教師幾近半數未接受資優教育專業訓練;(2) 一般社會人士及學校教職員對現行資優教育之支持態度甚不一致;(3) 不同職分之教師對資優教育之認知層次差異甚大,對資優教育之執行成果之看法較趨一致,但對未來展望則看法不一致;(4) 教師是否接受過專業資優教育訓練,影響他們對資優教育之看法;(5) 服務學校是否實施充實質優學生教育措施,不影響教師對資優教育之看法;(6) 學校實施充實資優學生教育措施之年限多寡,亦不影響教師對資優教育之看法;(7) 國小及國中教師一致認為現行資優教育各種措施之「重要性」與實際「執行成果」相去甚遠,顯示資優學生教育之推行有待加強。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this research was to investigate the various aspects of teachers' feelings about the importance, performance, and prospects on current gifted students education. The Feelings About the Gifted Students Education Questionnaire was administered to 358 school teachers, including 143 elementary, 117 junior high, 63 elementary teachers of the gifted classes, and 35 junior high teachers of the gifted classes. The results reveal: 1. Most of the teachers of gifted classes in elementary schools had professional training on gifted education. Yet, nearly half of the teachers of gifted classes in junior high schools have not gotten any speciallized training. 2. The lay people had different attitudes toward the support of the current gifted education from those of school faculties and staffs. 3. The cognitive levels of the gifted education are quite different among teachers in various fields; they did concur on the performance of the gifted education but had different view points on prospects. 4. The professional training on gifted education had positive effects on teachers' attitudes toward this speciallized type of education. 5. Whether the school currently has a gifted program or not had little effect on teachers' attitudes toward the gifted education. 6. The duration of the gifted program that a school is involved did not seem to affect teachers' attitudes. 7. Both elementary and junior high school teachers seemed to realize the importance of the gifted education, and were dissatisfied with the actual situation of the current gifted education. The results manifest that there still is a long way to go in the development and expansion of the gifted education. |
