中文摘要 | 本文旨在探討利用台灣赤楊及木油桐為原料製造粒片板之可行性,以期開拓此兩種樹種之利用新途徑及提昇其利用價值。實驗並就木油桐不同直徑級粒片,木油桐混合全直徑級粒片之不同膠合劑(UF,PF及MF)間,赤楊粒片不同膠合劑間及木油桐、赤楊兩樹種混合粒片之不同膠合劑間,依表1之條件進行製板及材質比較,結果如下:1.木油桐各直徑級(直徑4cm以下,4~8,8~12,12~26cm四級)及混合全直徑級粒片,以PF為膠合劑,製造三層構造之粒片板,板質均能符合JIS A 5908~1961強度200-type之品質要求,但混合全直徑級及各直徑級之粒片板間,差異不顯著。2.木油桐混合全直徑級粒片,以UF,MF及PF為膠合劑製造三層構造粒片板,靜曲強度大小依次為MF>PF>UF,前兩者符合前述規格強度200-type之品質要求,後者則只符合強度150-type之品質要求。3.赤楊粒片,使用前述三種膠合劑之三層構造粒片板,靜曲強度大小依次為MF>PF>UF,均只符合前述規格強度150 -type之品質要求。4.赤楊及木油桐粒片等量混合,使用不同膠合劑之粒片板,靜曲強度除MF者達上述規格強度200-type之品質要求外,UF及PF只達強度150 -type之標準。5.前三(2,3,4)項之粒片板,硬度、內聚強度均以MF>UF>PF,板面吸水量及吸水厚度膨脹率均為MF<PF<UF。6.以相同膠合劑,上述(2,3,4)項之粒片板間做比較時,靜曲強度(MOR, MOR/ρ,MOE)均以木油桐粒片板>木油桐、赤楊混合粒片板>赤楊粒板;硬度、板面吸水量及吸水厚度膨脹率則均為赤楊粒片板>木油桐、赤楊混合粒片板>木油桐粒片板。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of utilizing formosan alder and wood oil tree as raw materials for particleboard manufacture. In this experiment, the properties of 3-layer particleboard made of different diameter grades (below 4, 4~8, 8~12, 12~26Cm and full-tree bole particles of wood oil tree) and binders (UF, PF and MF) of wood oil tree and Formosan alder were examined following the manufacturing conditions in Table 1. The results obtained are as follows: 1. Properties of 3-layer particleboards, made of different diameter grades of wood oil tree with PF binder, meet the first strength level set by JIS A 5908-1961. And their variance analyses show no significant difference. 2. The effect of resins on mechanical properties of full-tree bole particleboards of wood oil tree is MF>PF>UF. The use of UF meets the second strength level and the others meet the first strength level of the said standard. 3. The effect of binders on strength properties of formosan alder particleboards is MF>PF>UF. Properties of these boards meet the second strength level of the same standard mentioned above. 4. The effect of binders on strength properties of wood oil tree and Formosan alder mixed particleboards is MF>PF>UF. The MF still meets the first strength level, and the others meet the second strength level of mentioned standard. 5. Brinell hardness is MF>UF>PF for all boards; the amount of water absorption and the percentage of thickness swelling are MF<PF<UF. 6. Compared at the same binder level, strength properties of the boards (MOR, MORI ρ, MOE) are wood oil tree particleboard> (wood oil tree + Formosan alder) particleboard> formosan alder particleboard. The Brinell hardness, the amount of water absorption and the percentage of thickness swelling, however, are formosan alder particleboard>(wood oil tree + formosan alder ) particleboard>wood oil tree particleboard. |
