英文摘要 | Crystallization of ice from brine solution in a batch Couette flow crystallizer by freezing is modeled by population balance, heat and mass equations. Partial differential equation which describes the crystallization process is transformed into a series of ordinary differential equations of moments. Optimization theory is applied to find the minimum coefficient of variation which accounts for the uniformity of crystal-size distribution and maximum crystal size within the crystallizer. The results are carried out by Runge-Kutta Gill computation method. |
