英文摘要 | An instant-local similarity method proposed by the authors is applied to analyze the unsteady laminar boundary layer heat transfer from stationary and moving flat plates to power-law non-Newtonian fluids. The cases of step change in surface temperature and surface heat flux, which distributed as power-law of streamwise distance, are considered. The effects of flow index and normalized streamwise distance on the temperature distribution and heat transfer rate are studied in detail. Comparison of the numerical results with available published series solutions of stationary plate in Newtonian fluids is satisfactory, especially for the range of dimensionless time less than unity. |
