中文摘要 | 為了明瞭本省所出產甘藷蔓飼養乳牛與肉牛的實際價值與其特性以便加以合理的利用,本所於65年4月甘藷生產季節開始進行一連串的試驗。 在泌乳牛方面第一階段試驗44天將乳牛12頭分為三組飼餵甘藷蔓比乾草各為100:0,70:30,40:60的三種粗料,同時每牛每天補充5公斤混合精料。為了檢討第一階段的結果。第一階段試驗結束以後第1組改為全乾草為期20天,第3組改為全甘藷蔓為期9天。本試驗所得結果可以摘錄如下幾點。 (一)乳牛很喜食甘藷蔓,新鮮甘藷蔓之攝取量可高達50~60公斤,相當8~10公斤乾物。 (二)新鮮甘藷蔓的產奶價值甚高,與中、下等粗料一起餵,日糧中之甘藷蔓愈多產奶愈多,雖然甘藷蔓有抑制乳脂的現象,但調整為4%乳脂產奶仍然可以得到較高的產乳。 (三)以甘藷蔓為主要粗料對牛隻之生理健康與乳汁之pH、酸度、比重、酒精試驗無不良之影響。 (四)泌乳牛以甘藷蔓為主要粗料在20公斤以下之產乳,每3公斤產給1公斤混合精料,?夠其營養需要。 在生長牛方面利用了4頭生長女牛平均體重為229.5公斤,先後飼餵新鮮甘藷蔓、脫水甘藷蔓、日晒甘藷蔓與青貯甘藷蔓,飼養各從二至六週不等,日晒甘藷蔓與脫水甘藷蔓並補充精料,其他不補充精料者供礦鹽任食。 試驗所得結果可歸納為下幾點: (一)牛隻對新鮮甘藷蔓、脫水甘藷蔓、日晒甘藷蔓與青貯甘藷蔓的乾物攝取量各為體重的2.22,2.11,2.56,3.28%。 (二)甘藷蔓之蛋白質可供0.3公斤之增重,但熱能僅在維持之邊緣,以甘藷蔓為主食補充2公斤泌乳牛精料可以得到0.75公斤之日增重,補充1公斤精料可以得到0.5公斤之日增重, 不補充精料可以不增重或稍為失重。 (三)甘藷蔓之利用以新鮮、日晒乾燥或青貯較為實用,機械脫水之費用如果不高也可以,但本試驗所用者葉已成粉末適口性較差。 |
英文摘要 | A series of feeding trial were conducted both with milking cows and growing heifers to determine the feeding value of sweet vines (SPV). In the study of milk production, 12 milking cows were selected depending upon their milk yield, butterfat percent, calving date and lactation, and alloted into 3 treatments, i.e. three SPV/ hay ratio of 100: 0, 70: 30, 40: 60 for 44 days as the first period, thereafter, cows in first groups were changed to hay as sole roughage, and those in third group were changed to fresh SPV, so that the results of first period can be checked. The initial milk production was 11 kg when cows were fed on poor quality grass silage. In addition to the roughage furnished ad. lib., 5 kg of balanced meal was offered to each cow daily. In growing test, 4 heifers were used to test the feeding value of fresh SPV, dehydrated SPV, sun cured SPV and SPV silage. The testing period ranged from 2 weeks to 6 weeks for different material, mincralized salt was given free choice for heifers fed on fresh SPV, dehydrated SPV, SPV silage which never received concentrates. Results from these trials can be summarized as following: A. for milk production 1. Fresh SPV is palatable, a cow of 400-450 kg can eat 50-60 kg (8-10 kg DM) of it readily. 2. Ration with more fresh SPV produced mored milk, although fresh SPV depressed milk fat percentage, but the FCM was still more for cows in first group and then the second group. 3. No ill effect on health and milk pH, acidity gravity, were found due to feeding of fresh SPV as the sole roughage. 4. Under this experiment for cows produced less than 20 kg of milk, 3 kg of concentrate for each kg of milk produced would be sufficient. B. for growth 5. The voluntary intake (DM/ body weight) of fresh SPV, dehydrated SPV, sun dried SPV, SPV silage was 2.22, 2.11, 2.56, 3.28% respectively. 6. Without supplementation, the feeding value of SPV would be in the margin of maintenance. 0.75 kg daily gain can be obtained when 2 kg of concentrate was supplemented; and 0.5 kg of daily gain when 1 kg of concentrate was supplemented. 7. Due to the high cost of mechanical dehydration and reduction of palatability, the use of dehydrated SPV would be less practical than fresh SPV, sun cured SPV or SPV silage at present time. |
