中文摘要 | 本試驗採用日本型稻(新竹56號)及印度型稻(新竹矮腳尖)為材料,由其種子內澱粉分解酵素之活性與種子發芽及生長之關係,來探討水稻種子發芽及生長之機構。同時並利用不同濃度的Gibberellic Acid (GA3)浸種2天,藉以探求該藥劑在何種濃度下,能增進水稻種子在低水溫下之發芽及幼苗之生長。 茲將試驗結果摘要如下: (一)Gibberellic Acid (GA3)浸種2天對水稻種子之發芽率,種子發芽後之生長及種子內澱粉分解酵素活性均無促進效果,可是品種間之發芽率及澱粉分解酵素的活性?有顯著的差異。 (二)低溫(日溫20℃,夜溫15℃)顯著的抑制種子發芽後之生長及種子內澱粉分解酵素的活性,同時印度型稻(新竹矮腳尖)受到低溫的影響較日本型稻(新竹56號)來得嚴重。 (三)本省中北部地區,第一期作如採用直播,則水稻種子因低溫所引起的發芽及幼苗生長之不良並不能利用Gibberellic Acid (GA3)的種子處理來有效的防止,而必須從育種上著手來育出抗低溫的品種。目前臺灣所有推廣品種中並無抗低溫的品種,因此育種材料之親本必須由國外引種利用之。在抗低溫品種未育出之前臺灣水稻如採用直播,則以第二期作為宜。 |
英文摘要 | The Japonica type rice variety (Sin Chu 56) and Indica type rice variety (Sin Chu IGG) were used in this experiment. The relationship among the seed germination, seedling growth and alpha-amylase activity of rice seed were studied to elucidate the mechanism of rice seed germination and growth. The use of gibberellic acid (GA3) treatment with different concentration to rice seed for two days was attempted to explore the effect of increasing rice seed germination and growth under low water temperature with best concentration of gibberellic acid (GA3) treatment. The following conclusions were drawn this study: (1) Seed treatment with gibberellic acid (GA3) for two days can not stimulate the rice seed germination, seedling grown and alpha-amylase activity in the seed. Nevertheless, the seed germination adn alpha-amylase activity in the seed between two varieties was different significantly. (2) Low temperature (20℃ day temperature, 15℃ night temperature) inhibits the alpha-amylase activity in the seed and seedling growth significantly. Indica variety (Sin Chu IGG) suffers low water temperature damage more severe than Japonica variety (Sin Chu 56). (3) In the central and northern part of Taiwan, the rice seed germination and growth suffering to the low water temperature damage under direct seeding in the first crop season can not be prevented by the seed treatment with gibberellic acid (GA3). It is the best way to introduce some low temperature tolerant rice variety from other country as a breeding material at this time. The direct seeding is suitable in the second crop season, since we have not gotten promising low temperature tolerant rice variety through breeding yet. |
