| 英文摘要 | Children with complex communication needs (CCN) face multiple challenges due to limited language comprehension and expression. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is a key tool in speech therapy, but its effectiveness is often influenced by the learner’s motivation. Keller (1987) proposed the ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) motivational model, emphasizing motivational stimulation to enhance active participation and improve the feasibility of AAC intervention programs. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of integrating the ARCS model into an AAC intervention program on the communication skills of children with CCN. The study included school-age children with CCN and analyzed data from three case studies to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. Results showed that applying the ARCS model to AAC intervention not only significantly improved children's communication motivation and ability but also facilitated the maintenance and generalization of communication skills. These findings have important practical implications for the field of speech therapy and provide a theoretical and empirical foundation for future research. |
