| 中文摘要 | 科學理論是科技發展的基礎。自十六世紀末以來,一些科學家開始重視天文與自然科學,運用觀測與實驗方法試圖推翻傳統的科學觀。典科學如物理、化學、天文等學科的知識,往往需經複雜的數學推算才能得出成果,研究過程艱辛且難以讓一般大眾迅速理解。隨著時間的推移,科學普及成為社會進步的重要動力。隨著科學知識普及人口的增加,其發展逐漸呈現年齡層向下延伸、社會分眾向外擴散的趨勢,展現出科學生活化與全民化的明顯成效。這些都是當前社會推動科學教育與文化建設的重要任務。臺北市立圖書館舊莊分館的館藏分類中設有「科普」專區,並以推廣科普閱讀為近年重點方向。每場閱讀推廣活動皆以科學普及為核心主題,並搭配主題書展,期望以深入淺出的方式,將科學知識融入民眾日常生活。透過這些活動,不僅能激發民眾對科學的興趣,更鼓勵大家活用圖書館資源與網路資訊,自主探索自然奧祕,進而培養求知、求變與創新的能力。 |
| 英文摘要 | Classical sciences such as physics, chemistry, and astronomy basically rely on sophisticated mathematical calculations, research time-consuming, difficult for the general public to understand. Scientists and educators have dedicated their efforts to explicit profound theories into common knowledge that is simple and accessible to everyone. Nowadays, science popularization is becoming more and a major force for social progress. The development of science has expanded across age groups and different social sectors, showing clear progress in making science more accessible and integrated into everyday life. These efforts represent key missions in promoting science education and cultural development in modern society. Jiuzhuang Branch Library features a dedicated "Popular Science" section in its collection and has made science education an essential focus of its reading promotion efforts. Most of the reading promotion activities are centered around the popular science themes. The goal of those activities are to integrate science and technology information into everyday life with some clear and achievable methods. The library not only aims to enlighten the public having interests in scientific research, but encourages individuals to be able to make the best use of library resources and online information to explore mor of the truths of the universe. What is more, participants can have the abilities to seek more answers of unknown knowledges; develop creative curiosity about popular scientific innovations. |
