| 中文摘要 | 如今,在高技術發展和複雜的市場背景之下, 製造業越來越需要不同領域人才的跨域合作。面對 激烈競爭的環境,消費類商品的開發設計更需要工 程與設計類專業人才的深入交流。然而,這並非一 帆風順。雙方之間不和諧的聲音,主要源於專業教 育不同所致的相互不理解和不認同。為求高效率、 高質量的跨領域合作,從整合的角度看,雙方必須 要能相互理解、包容,甚至接納對方的觀點、方法 以及做事的流程等。因此,工程與設計雙方之人 才,瞭解和認同對方的專業領域以及相關知識或技 能是必要的。基於此,在當前設計界討論如何整合 工程學實現跨領域的同時,本研究站在另一角度探 討了工程人才應如何整合設計,以具備相關的跨領 域能力。研究中,本文將這種面向設計的跨域知識 和技能定義為“跨領域設計知能”。並透過對 9 位 長期與工程師合作的設計師或產品經理之訪談內容 進行編碼分析,獲得了五個跨領域設計知能。隨後 透過訪談內容的進一步探討,確定了在消費類商品 的開發中,工程專業人士應具備的跨領域設計知 能,即:對美學知識、設計邏輯、設計思考、設計 過程和行業設計趨勢的認知、理解、認同與實踐。 |
| 英文摘要 | Today, in the context of high-tech development and a complex market, the manufacturing industry requires more and more interdisciplinary cooperation between talents from different fields. In a fiercely competitive environment, the development and design of consumer goods requires in-depth exchanges between engineering and design professionals. But this is not always easy. The discordant voices between the two parties are mainly due to a lack of mutual understanding and recognition resulting from differences in professional training. In order to achieve highly efficient and high quality interdisciplinary collaboration, from the perspective of interdisciplinary integration, both parties must be able to understand, tolerate and even accept each other's viewpoints, methods and work processes. Therefore, engineering and design talents need to understand and recognise each other's professional fields and the knowledge or skills associated with them. Based on this, while the design industry is currently discussing interdisciplinary integration with engineering field, this study takes another different perspective, exploring how the engineering field should make a integration with design disciplines in order to have the relevant interdisciplinary competence. In the study, this interdiscipline design-oriented knowledge and skills are defined as Interdisciplinary Design Competencies (IDC). Five interdisciplinary design competencies were identified by coding and analysing interviews with 9 designers or product managers who have worked with engineers for a long time. Subsequently, through further exploration of the interview content, it was determined that in the development of consumer goods, engineering professionals should possess interdisciplinary design knowledge, namely: an understanding, comprehension, recognition, and practice of aesthetic knowledge, design logic, design thinking, the design process, and industry design trends. |
