| 英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of telepractice for speech-language pathology in children with different types of verbal communication disorders. A literature search was conducted using the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane electronic databases, following the PRISMA guidelines. After exclusion, a total of 13 articles were included in the systemic review, consisting of 7 randomized/non-randomized controlled trials; 3 single-group pre- and post-tests; 2 crossover trials; and 1 case-control study. The study participants included children aged 3 to 12 with stuttering, speech sound disorders, hearing impairment, and developmental language disorders. According to the content and methods of research, telepractice and/or face-to-face therapy was applied to children with various types of communication disorders. The research results indicate that teletherapy can help improve verbal communication abilities in children with various types of communication disorders. It is equally effective as face-to-face therapy, and qualitative feedback from parents also shows positive results regarding the therapeutic outcomes. In summary, telepractice appears to be a feasible option for children with verbal communication disorders, both in terms of therapeutic effectiveness and positive feedback from parents. Currently, there are no regulations in Taiwan governing the implementation of telepractice for speech-language pathology, and we hope for more research in the field to support and expedite the promotion of telepractice. |
