中文摘要 | 本研究分析12名台灣人交換留學生當其處在新冠肺炎感染擴散下所採取的行動,藉以考察今後日語教育之相關課題。本研究之研究方法採用半結構式訪談,並用免費的文本探勘軟體KH Coder進行分析。調查結果發現,留學中止組可歸納出,「對日本新冠肺炎疫情擴散之恐慌」、「台灣及日本學校對於中止交換決定的尊重」、「來自同國留學生的資訊及放棄留學的動向」、「家人對於繼續留學的反對態度」、「對於日本防疫意識及政策的不信任」及「對於安全及健康的重視」共6個主題。另一方面,留學繼續組則可歸納出「對新冠肺炎疫情擴散之無感」、「保留回台灣的可能性」、「同國留學生繼續留學的動向及來自日本學校的援助」、「家人對於繼續留學的支持」、「對於日本政府危機管理能力之信任」と「留學是寶貴機會的認知」這6個主題。本研究之研究意義為闡明在世界爆發未曽有的危機下的留學經驗,藉以獲得關於今後國際教育交流之危機管理及留學支援之相關啟示。 |
英文摘要 | This study analyzed the behavior of 12 Taiwanese exchange students during the pandemic, in order to study future issues related to Japanese language education. The research method of this study adopts semi-structured interviews and analyses with KH Coder, a free text mining software. It was found that, the study aboard absence group can summarize to "panic about the spread of COVID-19 in Japan", "confusion about the inaction about epidemic prevention of Taiwanese schools", "information from students that came from same country and the trend of giving up studying abroad", "concerns about continuing to study abroad from family members", "distrust of Japan's epidemic prevention awareness and policies", and "emphasis on safety and health". On the other hand, the study abroad continuing group can summarize to "indifferent of the spread of COVID-19", "retain the possibility of returning to Taiwan", "the trend of students from the same country continuing to study abroad and assistance from Japanese schools", "the family's support for continuing to study abroad", "trust in the Japanese government’s crisis management capabilities" and "recognition that studying abroad is a valuable opportunity".
