| 中文摘要 | 摩擦修飾劑的功用之一為降低摩擦損失,由於與基礎油有較佳的相容性,有機摩擦修飾劑廣泛被使用於引擎機油以節省燃油消耗。本文介紹了不同情況下的摩擦與潤滑模式以及其對應的摩擦係數,並且介紹有機摩擦修飾劑之類型、化學結構、作用機制及影響減摩因素。摩擦修飾劑主要於邊界潤滑區域發揮減摩作用,機制可分為於金屬表面產生物理吸附層與化學反應層。常用的有機摩擦修飾劑如甘油酯類藉由其極性官能基吸附至金屬表面,含鉬有機物則在較高的溫度與壓力下於表面分解形成二硫化鉬保護膜。 |
| 英文摘要 | One of the functions of friction modifier is to reduce the friction loss. Due to its better affinity with base oil, organic friction modifier is prevailingly used in the engine oils for saving fuel consumption. In this paper, friction and lubrication regimes with corresponding friction coefficients under different conditions are introduced. The types and chemical structures of organic friction modifiers together with the mechanism and factors influencing friction reduction are also presented. Friction modifiers activate as friction reducer mainly in the boundary lubrication regime, and the mechanism can be categorized into the formation of physical adsorption layer and chemically reacted film on metal surface. Commonly used friction modifiers such as glycerides adsorb onto the metal surface via the polar functional groups and the organic molybdenum compounds degrade to form protective films composed of molybdenum disulfide under elevated temperature and pressure. |
