英文摘要 | A total of 32 weaned barrows (21 days of age, 7.06 kg) were randomly allotted to one of the four dietary treatments, within a randomized complete block design: control, antibiotics (AB; 250 mg/kg colistine + 500 mg/kg amoxycline), 1.80 g/kg lingzhi culture (LZC), and 370 mg/kg lingzhi polysaccharides (LZPS) for 26 days. On day 12, pig received a challenge of 5 × 1010 cfu enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli-F4ac infusion. Fecal samples were consecutively collected for 4 days of post infection (dpi), and serum samples were obtained at dpi 7 and 14. Results showed that both AB and LZPS increased survival rate than that of the control, but only AB could enhance ADG of weaned pigs (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, LZC increased fecal lactoferrin content at dpi 1 compared to the control and AB groups (P < 0.05). Decreased fecal IgA was noticed in LZC, LZPS and AB as compared to the control group at dpi 2; lowered feces moisture and ETEC shedding was found only in AB group. Furthermore, supplementation with LZC lessened plasma F4specific IgG titer at dpi 7. Treatment with LZC or LZPS also reduced the activity of plasma lysozyme (P < 0.05). However, dietary treatment affected little on the plasma haptoglobin concentration (P > 0.05). In summary, the reduced inflammation response of intestine was evidently observed in the LZC and LZPS groups, suggesting such treatments could be used as effective measures to support animals to against ETEC-F4ac infection. |
