中文摘要 | 本研究目的在探討熱處理對孟宗竹(Phyllostachys pubescens)竹材的物理性質及耐腐朽性的影響,熱處理條件為溫度170、190、210及230℃和持溫時間1、2及4h。研究結果顯示隨熱處理溫度升高與時間增長,質量損失率呈顯著地增加;絕乾密度、平衡含水率及尺寸收縮率則呈遞減趨勢。熱處理能減低竹材的水分吸收能力並提升尺寸安定性,抗吸濕效能可達40-70%;熱處理溫度達190℃以上時,抗收縮效能都可達50%以上。經12週耐腐朽試驗後,竹材經210℃以上熱處理後之重量損失率在3%以下,可有效提升竹材耐腐朽性能。熱處理溫度為影響孟宗竹材物理性質與耐腐朽性差異的關鍵因子。 |
英文摘要 | The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of heat treatment on the physical properties and decay resistance of moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens). Heat treatments were conducted at temperature levels of 170, 190, 210, and 230℃ for time durations of 1, 2, and 4 hours. The experimental results indicated that the mass loss significantly increased as temperature increased and those of the equilibrium moisture content, oven-dry density, and dimensional shrinkage of heat-treated moso bamboo decreased as the treatment temperature and time increased. This study revealed that moso bamboo became less hygroscopic and higher dimensional stability when subjected to heat treatment process. The moisture exclusion efficiency of heat-treated samples could reach from 40% to 70% in comparison with untreated samples. An ASE of above 50% could be obtained by heating moso bamboo samples over 190℃. The values of percent weight loss of bamboo treated above 210℃ were lower than 3% after 12 weeks of decay resistance test. The resistance against decay attack of moso bamboo could be improved effectively with heat treatment process. Temperature is the key factor on the variations of physical properties and decay resistance of heat-treated moso bamboo. |
