中文摘要 | 本研究以CIE-L*a*b*顏色參數探討孟宗竹(Phyllostachys pubescens)竹材經170、190、210 及230℃ 四種溫度與分別維持1、2、4 h 的熱處理後之顏色與強度變化。結果顯示,經熱處理後之表面顏色隨處理溫度上升與時間增長而變深,熱處理造成竹材顏色變化主要發生在前1h 內,隨後之變化輕微,以L*值可準確評估孟宗竹材經熱處理後之質量損失率。以210oC 以下進行熱處理後可提高孟宗竹材之縱向抗壓強度,但縱向抗拉強度與MOR 則隨處理溫度升高或時間增長,呈顯著降低結果,其中以縱向抗拉強度的減低率最大,MOE 受到影響程度較低。利用L*值可有效作為熱處理竹材強度品質監測指標。 |
英文摘要 | The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of heat treatment on the changes of color (by using CIE-L*a*b* color parameters) and mechanical strength of moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens). Heat treatments were performed at temperature levels of 170, 190, 210, and 230oC for time durations of 1, 2, and 4 hours. The experimental results showed that a darkening of color occurred, the higher the temperature and the longer the time duration of heat treatment, and the greater the color changes of the heat treated moso bamboo. During the first 1 h of heat treatment the total color change (ΔE*) increased rapidly, and the following ΔE* change was moderate. The value of L* could predict the mass loss of heat-treated moso bamboo accurately. An increase of compression strength parallel to grain of moso bamboo was found with samples treated below 210℃. While the increase in temperature or time duration of heat treatment caused a gradual decline of the tensile strength parallel to grain (σ_t) and MOR of heat-treated moso bamboo. It appears that influence of heat treatment on the reduction in σt was most pronounced and the least affected properties is modulus of elasticity (MOE). The value of L* could be an effective index for the prediction of mechanical strength of heat-treated moso bamboo. |
