中文摘要 | 教育部體育署推動「SH150 方案(Sport & Health 150 方案)」,鼓勵學生除體育課外,每週在校運動時間達150 分鐘,體育署並舉辦典範學校遴選活動,明道中學榮獲最高榮譽優等獎。明道是去年學測全國最佳、升學績優的高中私校,校內運動風氣卻相當盛行。校長汪大久提倡「越運動越優秀、越運動越聰明」,學校一年辦30 幾場體育活動,平均每個月有近3 項不同的活動或賽事登場;課、內外運動性社團近30 個,參與學生1,500 多人次。校長、副校長帶頭打籃球、羽球,許多老師鼓勵全班慢跑,操場經常大爆滿,要登記才搶得到;並以體育活動凝聚班級經營的榮譽感與向心力,成效卓越。 明道校園內也有許多新穎的體育設施,如體適能中心、攀岩場、溫水游泳池、室內體育館等,去年更全新落成運動場跑道及週邊設備,採用奧運規格橡膠材質,讓運動場升級至國際運動會等級。學校積極提升體育設備, 鼓勵師生快樂運動,養成良好運動習慣。事實證明,體育風氣越盛,學生專注力提升,課業表現確實更好。以曾獲師鐸獎的數學老師林思檳為例,他鼓勵學生慢跑,所帶班級寧可每週犧牲半節數學課跑操場,班上不分男女人人都能跑5,000 公尺以上,3 年下來, 學生透過運動培養了體能、專注力與毅力。去年林思檳老師班上學測有7 個75 滿級分生,破全國紀錄,全班平均71.67 級分,印證運動有助於學習! 本篇文章將本校在推動SH150 心得及作法,如何鼓勵學生參與各項體育活動,進而積極參與及自主性參與運動做分享。其中包含: 體育課程、體育教師專業成長、活動設計、體育志工、及成果做分享,期能做到拋磚引玉, 對體育教育盡棉薄之力。 |
英文摘要 | The SH150 Program, advocated by the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education (SA), aims to encourage students to have at least 150 minutes of physical activities per week, in addition to physical education lessons. The SA hosted a selection process for model schools of the said program, and Ming- Dao High School was one of the schools with outstanding result. Ming-Dao High School scored high in the College Entrance Examination and top in advancing education among private high schools. Yet, sports is greatly favored in the school. Principal Wang Da-chiu promotes “The more you exercise, the better you become; the more you exercise, the smarter you become”. There are more than 30 sports activities in the school within a year, with an average of 3 events of different nature every month; there are close to 30 sports clubs both within school curriculum and without; and there are more 1,500 participation. The principal and vice principal often lead students in playing basketball or badminton; many teachers encourage their whole class to jog; often, the sports field is jam packed and required registration! Sports activities are also used to foster class unity and sense of honor, and achieved outstanding results. Within its campus, Ming-Dao High School has several newly constructed sports facilities, such as Fitness Center, rock climbing field, room temperature swimming pool, indoor stadium, etc. Last year, the running tracks and nearby facilities underwent complete renovation and adopted Olympic-grade rubber material. The school actively upgrades its sports facilities to encourage teachers and students to enjoy sports and nurture good exercise habits. The fact is, as sports became more popular, students concentrate better and perform better academically. Take mathematics teacher Lin Si-bing, an awardee of the Ministry of Education’s Outstanding Teacher Award for instance, he encouraged students to jog, and he did so at the expense of half a math class. All students in his class could easily run 5km, and over the course of three years, students developed stamina, concentration and perseverance. Last year in the College Entrance Examination, teacher Lin’s class has 7 students with full score of 75, which is itself a national record, and the class average score is 71.67. This proves that exercise can indeed help learning! This article aims to share the process and actual methodology of how Ming-Dao High School promotes the SH150 Program, as well as how to encourage students to participate in various physical activities so they exercise actively and voluntarily. This includes: physical education courses, professional development of teachers, event design, sports volunteers, and final presentation. We hope to encourage others by piloting the way and doing our part to contribute. |
