英文摘要 | This article aims to explicate the origins and background of SH150 Program. Sports not only brings physical advantages to students, but also positive impacts on cognitive, emotional and concentration abilities of students with respect to their learning psychology. In comparison with nearby developed countries, Taiwan’s physical education (PE) lessons are by far lacking. Even though previous efforts from all spheres have brought about certain development, there’s still much room for improvement. In accordance with the amendment to article 6 of the National Sports Act, in addition to designated hours of physical education, students in elementary and high schools should have at least 150 minutes of physical activities per week. The SH150 Program is an avenue to invigorate the aforementioned policy. |
