中文摘要 | 近年來網路資源呈爆炸性的成長,幾乎任何主題都能找到豐富的英語資源,為學生的自主學習營造了絕佳環境。本研究為一英語教師的課程設計行動研究,探討教師如何依循以學習者為中心的課程設計原則,在課堂上使用由學生主導的網路資源與由教師主導的網路資源,並將網路資源與課堂聽說讀寫活動密切整合,以提供符合大學階段英語學習者學科知識與認知程度需求的學習材料,並給予學生對於學習內容的控制權,提升學生自主學習動機與能力。 |
英文摘要 | The internet has provided a wealth of authentic language learning materials for English learners. This paper examines the employment of a variety of technology tools to tailor the language instruction to the needs and interests of university science-majors. Participants of the study were 34 university students from the School of Sciences at a university in Taiwan. Online resources used in the classroom were divided into teacherinitiated and student-initiated resources. For teacher-initiated resources, students were introduced to a variety of websites, including Khan Academy, TED Talks, i-tune universities, etc. For student-initiated resources, students were instructed to create a personal blog about a topic of their interests and post an article on the blog every week by searching for online resources on their own. To understand the effectiveness of the integration of these online resources into the class, both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed. Results of the study indicate that technolozy tools can create individual learning environment and promote learner autonomy. |
