中文摘要 | 甲基第三丁基醚(MTBE)被用來作為美國新配方汽油及許多國家汽油(包括台灣)的主要添加劑,用以提高汽油辛烷值及降低汽車排放污染。然而,美國禁用MTBE局勢已定,至於歐、亞其他國家雖尚未禁用,但放眼未來,世界各地可能限制甚至禁用MTBE,這勢必對全球煉油業及MTBE生產商造成衝擊和影響,因此研究禁用MTBE後採取的對策深具重大意義。目前,美國財政部已同意以ETBE摻配汽油使用時給予乙醇部分之賦稅優惠;而台灣環保署及能源委員會已就替代政策及影響層面進行相關研究。本文主要彙整ETBE的市場需求及變化,並就其現有商業化專利技術進行介紹及發展的可行性探討,提共國內發展ETBE生產之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) has been used widely as a main additive of reformulated gasoline in U.S.A. and other countries (include Taiwan) to improve octane number and also reduce vehicle emissions. However, MTBE will be prohibited in America in the near future. Although it is still used in Europe and Asia, it will be finally prohibited and be bound to impact and influence on the global refining industry and MTBE manufacturers in whole world. Therefore, the study of substitutive methods for prohibiting MTBE is very important and meaningful. Recently, the United States Department of the Treasury has agreed to lower the taxes for the users of ETBE mixed gasoline such like Ethanol mixed gasoline. The EPA and Bureau of Energy of Taiwan have made their effort on substitutive methods and the influence of MTBE/ETBE development by commissioned research. The objective of this report is to review the market demand and the latest development of ETBE. Commercial synthesis technologies were also collected and organized to apply as a reference of competitive production in the future. |
