英文摘要 | The catalytic dehydrogenation of ethanol into acetaldehyde over copper-chromia catalyst in a fixed bed reactor in the temperature range 210-290℃ at atmospheric pressure and time factor values ranging from 0.5 to 8.0g-cat.hr/mole is investigated. By the differentiating method it is found that the dehydrogenation appears to take place at a single site on the catalyst surface in which product hydrogen gets adsorbed and where the adsorption of ethanol is controlling the rate of reaction. Based on this mechanism, a rate equation is derived which is able to predict the experimental data quite well. |
