| 英文摘要 | Rice bakanae disease, caused by Fusarium fujikuroi, has long been considered to be a seed borne disease. Undoubtedly pathogen-infected seeds will lead to disease seedlings. The question, whether a F. fujikuroi infected seed can result in the adult rice plant to contract the disease, needs to be clarified. In this study, rice seeds were inoculated with the pathogen and disease seedlings of 21-day-old were transplanted in two separate ways, single transplanting and double transplanting. The data showed that in single transplanting treatment disease seedlings would turn to healthy appearance and live well to fruiting. However 22.2% of these rice plants have abnormal tillering. In double transplanting treatment, 12.5% of disease seedling died, 70.8% turned to healthy appearance until fruiting, 8.3% turned to healthy appearance until fruiting but with abnormal tillering, and 8.3% turned to healthy appearance at first but ended up to appear bakanae disease with persistent abnormal tillering. The result suggests that seeds infected by F. fujikuroi can lead to the occurrence of bakanae disease on adult rice plants, and the ways of transplanting can affect the rate of bakanae disease occurrence, with denser transplanting having higher occurrence. In conclusion, there are four possible destinations for rice seedlings that have been contracted with F. fujikuroi through seed infection. Some seedlings will die, some will totally recover without any detrimental effect, some will turn to healthy appearance but with abnormal tillering, and some will initially turn to healthy appearance with abnormal tillering then eventually have bakanae disease symptom. |
