中文摘要 | 經歷過去三十多年的努力,語言學習策略已逐漸發展成第二語言教學研究中重要的研究範疇。台灣有關語言學習策略的研究自九零年代初期開始。本文旨在回顧語言學習策略的研究,並著重於台灣的相關研究。文獻資料顯示,台灣的研究包含對各種學習環境和教育階段的學生使用語言學習策略的探討。許多的研究著重於學習策略與語言能力的關係,以及學習策略使用的個別差異。這些研究有助於建立目前對語言學習策略的知識基礎。此外,大部分研究支持語言學習策略訓練的價值,但需要未來更多相關研究證實。本文最後並提出研究與教學的建議。 |
英文摘要 | Language learning strategies (LLS) have become an important field in second language acquisition and instruction after three decades of efforts. This paper reviewed research in LLS and focused on the empirical studies conducted in Taiwan since the early 90s. As the review showed, the research conducted in Taiwan has assessed Taiwanese learners’ use of LLS in different learning contexts and at different levels. Many studies also focused on the relationships between learning strategy use and language proficiency as well as on how individual differences impact strategy use. These studies help to build the current knowledge base about LLS. In addition, most of the studies supported the value of training in the use of LLS, but more empirical research is needed in the future. Finally, the paper presented research and pedagogical suggestions. |
