中文摘要 | 本研究的目的在於探討台灣高中學生、不同性別、不同英文寫作能力對英文寫作所產生的焦慮感。研究樣本以隨機抽樣方式選出一所位於台灣的高中之108名學生。資料的蒐集採用一份「英文寫作焦慮」問卷的填答。研究結果顯示:時間限制、擔心評量、缺乏寫作的動機和興趣、和同儕壓力等因素,皆是導致學生產生寫作焦慮的原因。研究結果顯示,男生、女生對於英文寫作的焦慮並無顯若差異,而英文寫作能力的優劣對英文寫作焦慮有顯著差異,一般而言,英文寫作能力較差者較之寫作能力佳者產生了較高程度的焦慮。 |
英文摘要 | This study aimed to explore the differences between genders as well as the proficiency differences of students who experienced English writing anxiety at a senior high school in Taiwan. The participants were 108 randomly selected students at a senior high school in Taiwan. An English writing anxiety questionnaire was adopted for data collection. The results have shown that students attributed the causes of anxiety of the fear of writing as time constraint, the fear of evaluation, a lack of writing motivation and interest, as well as peer pressure. The results showed there was no significant difference between male and female students in terms of their English writing anxieties in this study. On the contrary, the results showed there was a significant difference between two different proficiency groups in terms of their English writing anxieties. On the average, lower level writing proficiency group students had higher English writing anxieties than higher level writing proficiency group students. |
