中文摘要 | A390鋁合金(Al-17Si-4Cu-0.5Mg-0.5Fe)使用於水冷式汽車引擎零件已有一段時間,但若欲將其應用在運轉溫度為225℃之空冷式機車引擎,則需加強其高溫機械性質。本研究藉由在過共晶Al-17Si及A390鋁合金中加入各為0.2~0.6%之Cr、Fe、Mg、Mn、Ti、V、Zr等合金元素,形成Al-17Si-X及A390-X合金,各合金在175~400℃溫度下進行時效處理後,藉由光學顯微鏡(OM)、掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)、輝光放電成分分析儀(GDOS)、電子微探儀(EPMA)、洛氏硬度儀、往復式線性磨耗試驗機來探討Al-17Si-X及A390-X合金之室溫及高溫機械性質。結果顯示,於數種Al-17Si-X合金中,在室溫及高溫硬度之增強方面,以Al-17Si-0.5Mg合金最具合金強化效果。在耐磨耗性方面,經細化調質處理之汽缸試片,明顯較未經調質之A390鋁合金更為耐磨耗,由此可知耐磨耗性質與初晶矽大小、分佈有相當之關聯。對A390鋁合金及汽缸試片兩種被磨材而言,鍍鉻SKH51磨頭具最低之磨耗係數,造成被磨材最低之磨耗損失,其次為滲氮之SKD61磨頭,而未作鍍硬鉻或滲氮處理之SKH51金屬磨頭,其磨耗係數最高,造成被磨材最大之磨耗損失。 |
英文摘要 | A390 Al alloy (Al-17Si-4Cu-0.5Mg-0.5Fe) has been used as cylinder components in water-cooled auto engine for years. This hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy, however, can not be applied for cylinder components for air-cooled motorcycle engine which operates at a relatively higher temperature of 225℃. In order to upgrade the A390 Al alloy for motor-cylinder application, alloying elements including Cr, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ti, V and Zr were added into Al-17 Si and A390 alloys to produce a variety of Al-17Si-X and A390-X alloys. After aging treatment at 175~400℃, the microstructure and mechanical property at elevated temperature of these alloys were examined by using OM, SEM, GDOS, EPMA, Rockwell hardness tester and a Taber linear wear tester. The results showed that, among many Al-17Si-X Alloys, the Al-17Si-0.5Mg alloy exhibits the highest strengthening effect at both room and elevated temperatures due to the alloying of 0.5% Mg. Refinement of primary Si in the A390 alloy greatly enhances the wear resistance of the hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy. Comparisons of the wear resistance of A390 alloy against three different kind of hard alloys, namely Cr coated SKH51 alloy, nitrited SKD61 alloy and un-coated SKH51 alloy, showed that the un-coated SKH51 alloy causes the most severe wear on the A390 alloys. And the Cr coated SKH51 alloy produce the mildest wear on the A390 alloys. |
