中文摘要 | 本研究的目的是藉由分析慈濟大學94 學年度學生評鑑通識課程教師教學的結果,以瞭解通識課程教師的教學品質,同時探究非教學實質因素對教學評鑑得分之影響,期望藉此提升教學評鑑結果的理解與應用效度。本研究發現慈濟大學學生對通識課程教師的教學表現相當肯定。同時亦發現兼任教師、男性教師,在教學評鑑上獲得明顯的肯定。教選修課的教師得分高於教必修課的教師。同時教授級教師及教授核心必修課程的教師,在教學評鑑的得分偏低。男學生、低年級的學生給通識教師的教學評鑑得分較高。就讀不同學系學生在教師教學評鑑的給分上有顯著差異。認真的學生比不認真的學生更肯定教師的教學表現。上述這些非教學品質的因素皆對教師教學評鑑的結果,產生明顯的影響,因此建議在對教師教學評鑑結果進行瞭解時,需將上述因素納入考量,同時參酌其他相關資訊,才能正確的理解教師教學的樣貌。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of Tzu Chi University student ratings of General Education course instruction to interpret the quality of general education course instruction. Meanwhile, we also explored how the non-substance factors of instruction have affected the instructional evaluation scores. This study found the Tzu Chi University students fairly approved the General Education teachers' effort on instruction. We also found part-time teachers and male teachers got higher scores on instruction evaluation. The teachers teaching elective courses had higher scores on instruction evaluation than the teachers teaching the required courses. However, the professors and the instructors who taught core required courses got the lower scores on instruction evaluation. Male students and lower grade students gave teachers higher scores. The students from different departments also gave teachers significantly different scores on instruction evaluation. Hard-working students give teachers higher scores, too. Based on the study results, we suggest take the above mentioned factors into account, when evaluate teachers' instruction quality and making the high-stake decisions. |
