英文摘要 | Because of leveling and declining student enrollments, lack of faculty mobility and increasing financial pressures on institutions today, evaluating faculty performance for purposes of promotion is very important. Faculty evaluation is not only beneficial to the faculty but also the institution. The primary purpose of faculty evaluation is to improve their performance. Just as students need guidance to correct errors, professors are entitled to helpful direction in order to improve their performance. It is vital that evaluation procedures are suitable for helping faculty improve their performance and meet institution goals.
