中文摘要 | 本研究旨在瞭解家庭語言環境與幼兒詞彙能力之相關,以大台北地區托兒所大班幼兒及其家長為研究對象,採用修訂後「畢保德圖畫詞彙測驗 (PPVT-R)」針對幼兒進行個別施測,並以受試幼兒之父母為對象,填寫「家庭語言環境量表」,共得有效問卷142 份。研究主要發現: 一、父母親認為家庭語言環境實行頻率偏向「經常」,以「親子語言互動」的向度頻率較高、相對較低的是「多元生活經驗」。 二、幼兒詞彙能力之平均標準分數為104.77,呈現普通程度;且有分數高低落差頗大之情形。 三、家庭社經地位對幼兒詞彙能力造成顯著差異,即家庭社經地位較低,則幼兒詞彙能力相對較低;且來自中及高家庭社經地位的幼兒詞彙能力均顯著高於低家庭社經地位之幼兒。 四、家庭語言環境及家庭社經地位與幼兒詞彙能力達顯著相關,即家庭社經地位愈高或家庭語言環境愈佳,幼兒詞彙能力的表現也愈好。 五、多元生活經驗與家庭社經地位對幼兒詞彙能力具有顯著預測力,當幼兒多元生活經驗愈豐富、家庭社經地位愈高,則可預測幼兒的詞彙能力表現愈好。 本研究根據研究結果,提出建議以供家長及未來研究參考。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to understand the relations of home verbal environment and 6 year-old children's vocabulary ability. The tools included the Home Verbal Environment Scale and the Children’s PPVT-R Test. There were 142 valid questionnaires collected. The average score for home verbal environment was tended “sometimes”. The result showed that “parent-child language interaction” was relatively high and “diverse learning experience” was relatively low among three dimensions. The average score of children’s vocabulary ability was 104.77. It meant that children’s vocabulary ability was at an ordinary level. The result of correlations showed that home verbal environment and family SES were positively related to children’s vocabulary ability. The regression analyses indicated that diverse learning experiences and family SES showed significant positive associations with children’s vocabulary ability. |
