中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討三位國小四年級新住民子女於融入閱讀策略的探究教學 中,其閱讀策略學習表現,閱讀策略係指協助讀者釐清文本脈絡與瞭解文本內 容的方式,不同於讀者舊有的閱讀習慣,僅依照喜好或興趣決定閱讀方式。研 究方法採個案研究,在探究教學情境中,融入閱讀策略,設計一系列以植物為 主題的科學文本讓學生從事探究與閱讀,並採用科學文本閱讀前後測、探究紀 錄單,課室觀察及訪談等方式蒐集資料。研究發現:學生在接受閱讀策略融入 探究教學後未改變其帄時閱讀習慣,顯見閱讀習慣不易在短時間被改變。學生 對於「重讀」、「劃重點」與「做筆記」等閱讀策略,隨著練習次數的增加, 愈趨熟練。語文能力較高的學生,對於「寫摘要」與「改寫文本」等閱讀策略 的學習表現較佳。閱讀策略融入探究教學中,對提升學生的科學文本閱讀有正 向的幫助。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this case study was to investigate newly immigrated children’s reading strategies on scientific texts. Usually, children determine their ways to read science texts according to their preferences or interests. Reading strategies are useful to help them clarify and realize the content of science texts. Under the context of the inquiry and reading teaching, three fourth grade students were observed. A series of scientific texts related to plants were developed to promote case students to conduct inquiry. Data were collected by scientific texts, interviews, classroom observations and worksheets. The findings of this study were shown that the case students’ reading habits were not altered after engaging in the inquiry and reading teaching. Through continuing practices, the case students were proficient in rereading, planning focus and taking notes. The case students who have higher language ability presented better proficiency in writing abstracts and rewriting text were related to their. Integrating reading strategies into inquiry teaching would have a positive impact on newly-immigrated children’s reading on scientific text. |
