中文摘要 | 子化讓幼教市場萎縮,競爭日益激烈的環境使得私立幼托機構的生存面臨困境,導致幼教管理者更常面臨如何兼顧教學品質與市場需求之兩難。因此本文以立意取樣,選擇中部地區一家有盈餘並獲得教學評鑑優等之單店經營私立托兒所為研究對象,探究其在競爭激烈的環境,如何能維持教學品質同時營造關鍵成功因素,並以管理理論解釋此案例。本文以訪談、文件審視、輔以觀察紀錄歸納出該機構之經營關鍵成功因素,並與家長問卷調查相印證。本文發現個案關鍵成功因素集中於環境的安排、活潑的教學、良好的親師溝通以及照顧家長的需求等項。個案能利用其機構用地位置之優勢,用心規劃硬體環境,而其突顯整體環境寬敞舒適之行銷方法,以及設立初期之學費促銷方案,對機構之經營有極大的幫助。本文認為個案之管理方式,有些也廣為其他幼托機構所採用,但是個案著重於呈現課程之具體效果,並以才藝課之成果跟家長驗證主題學習之成效等,則是其他機構比較容易忽略之處。 |
英文摘要 | Due to decreasing reproduction rates in Taiwan, child-care centers face greater challenges than ever. In this study, we were interested in understanding why some private child-care centers could succeed in the competitive market while maintaining educational quality. One single-store child-care center, which made profits and won nursery school accreditation for education quality during the past year, was examined. Our goal was to find out the key factors for its success. Observations, documents reading and interviews were used to collect data. Parents’ satisfactions toward the selected child-care center were asked through questionnaire. In this study, we found that the parents and the managers displayed consistent agreement on the performances of the child-care center. One of the key success factors of the examined child-care center was that the managers showed high regard for parents’ needs. For example, the managers seek out acceptable ways to meet parents’ needs for early intervention, and at the same time conveyed parents with visible evidences what their children learned from development appropriate learning activities. Another key success factor was that the managers made best use of their resources to create a clean, roomy, bright, playful and safe environment that attracted parents’ attention. Promotion, which applied at the very beginning of their opening, recruited many customers at short time also leading to its success. Finally, human resource, customer relationship and marketing theories were used to explain the success of the selected case. Our findings may be useful for managers to create their own key success factors for their institutions. |
