中文摘要 | 英語聽力理解能力為學習英語之重要技能之一。本文探討不同性別、學制及是否住過英語系國家等因素,對於技術學院學生英語聽力學習動機之影響,並探討學習動機之強弱與聽力成效之關係。研究對象為南亞技術學院應用外語系二專及五專的112位學生。研究結果顯示,性別、學制及是否住過英語系國家等三項因素之主效應及交互作用對於技術學院學生英語聽力學習動機之影響皆不大,未達到顯著影響水準。但聽力學習動機較高者之聽力成效明顯優於學習動機較低者。 |
英文摘要 | Listening comprehension ability is important for all students in learning English. In this research, the author investigates the effects of sex, educational system and foreign experience on learning motivation in English listening comprehension by technology college students. And then, the author investigates the relationship between listening comprehension motivation and proficiency. The subjects are 112 students in Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Nanya Institute of Technology. The major findings of this study are as follows. The main effect of sex, educational system, and foreign experience on listening comprehension motivation. Higher motivation group gets higher proficiency scores than lower motivation group does. The difference of mean proficiency scores between these two groups reaches a significant level. |
