中文摘要 | 本研究針對「幼兒教育及國民教育」、「十二年國民教育」、「高等教育」、「技職教育」與「社會教育及其他」等5個主題進行重要教育問題的調查研究,題目設計係依據當前之重要或新興議題及教育主管機關自行依其需要擬定,研究目的在瞭解民眾對台灣目前重要教育議題的認知及看法,提供後續研究與教育主管機關參考。本研究自2005年即開始進行,預計每年針對以上5個主題分別進行調查,調查地區及對象為台灣地區(含離島)年滿20歲以上之民眾,調查執行採電腦輔助的電話訪問(CATI,computer-assisted telephone interviewing)系統,依縣市人口比率由電腦隨機抽樣,每次調查需至少成功完訪1068人。2007年的5個主題共調查60個問題,本文選擇相對重要的問題24題呈現調查結果及進行討論,並於文末提出對調查問題的結論及建議,提供參考。24個調查問題中,部份在2005及2006年也有調查,對於連續調查的問題,本文著重在歷年調查結果之比較、分析及討論。 |
英文摘要 | The surveys were designed around five topics which are relevant for educational policy: issues about preschool and compulsory education, 12 years national basic education, higher education, technical and vocational education, and social education. The questions were designed to encompass important and emerging issues related to the topic and also the needs of the Ministry of Education. The main goal of this study is to know people’s views and attitudes toward important educational issues in Taiwan in order to offer valuable empirical findings for educational policy decision-making. To achieve this goal, the study namely starts from 2005 to carry on. Investigation object were adult population in Taiwan. There were over 1068 interviewees who are 20 years old or above and randomly sampled by CATI (computer-assisted telephone interviewing) according to the population percentage of counties in each survey. Each topic included ten to fifteen questions besides the background questions. Out of the entire set of sixty questions, the results of twenty-four questions are discussed in this paper due to their relative importance. The study may prove to be pertinent to the needs of educational policy-makers. Some questions were surveyed in 2005 and in 2006 as well. For those questions, this article emphasized on comparison, analysis and discussion in all previous year investigation results. |
