中文摘要 | 摘要 台灣中小企業的蓬勃展現出臺灣人的創業精神,而在台灣經濟發展的過程中這種 創業精神更扮演著舉足輕重的角色與影響。正因為其對台灣經濟的貢獻,研究創業家 成功的因素便成為一個重要的議題。由於社會網絡關係在華人社會中有著極其重要的 影響,本研究期望探討社會網絡行為在創業家的創業過程中所扮演的角色,期望能夠 回答下列重要的問題:創業家在其社會網絡行為表現上有何特色?創業家如何營建其 社會網絡?創業家如何透過社會網絡來獲得其所需的資訊及獲得潛在利益? 本研究採用質化方法,從文獻的個案資料中,分析歸納創業家的社會網絡與創業 行為間之關係。本研究發現:創業家會經由不同的管道,可能是正式的組織或公協會、 專業協會,或是非正式的場合中與別人建立或深或淺的關係,並透過不同的互動方 式,得到不同的資訊;從關鍵人物(強連帶)身上可以得到產業重要的技術與知識,還能發展情感的支持;而一般社交朋友(弱連帶)可以得到較多、較廣泛的資訊;創 業家會透過強連帶關係及參與各種公協會、社團活動、非正式活動等不同方式,拓展 社會網絡關係,獲得各種資訊與潛在的商機利益;創業家求學過程與先前工作經驗所 累積的人脈,也是新創事業發展時的重要資源。本研究從社會網絡理論及特徵,試圖 系統地討論創業家社會網絡關係行為及其意義,期透過本研究發現能夠做為學者對未 來創業家社會網絡行為研究的基礎;而從個案資料分析的創業家社會網絡關係行為, 也能夠給創業家一些實務建議,讓創業家明白了解社會網絡關係對創業的重要性,以 及建立和拓展社會網絡關係的參考,幫助其在經營新創事業時更加順利。 |
英文摘要 | Abstract Entrepreneurship has been recognized as a very important contributor of Taiwan economic development. However, the studies and understanding of the entrepreneurship has been very little. There are only a few researches discussing about the characteristics and behaviors of Entrepreneurs. The present paper tends to explore the social networking behaviors of entrepreneurs. The major questions are to understand the roles of social networks in the startup businesses, the various characteristics of social networks, and how the entrepreneurs build and expand their social networks and what kind of the benefits they can obtain from the social networks. The research adopts the qualitative method to analyze the cases of entrepreneurs and the ways that entrepreneurs use to build and to expand their social networks. The major findings are: the social networks of the entrepreneurs have strong and weak ties; they will interact in different degrees with the strong and weak ties. They also obtain different information from the strong and the weak ties. The social networks developed from the university, past working experience and various social institutions, both formal and informal, are beneficial to the entrepreneurs. The research findings are discussed from the social network theory and related perspectives. It is hoped that the research findings can provide a basis for future research on the topic of entrepreneurs’ social networking behavior. The present research findings can also give some practical suggestions to entrepreneurs, helping them to understand the importance of social networks and the ways to build and to expand their social networks. |
