中文摘要 | 大蒜成分diallyl sulfide為具有前瞻性之有效抗癌物質。本研究中,我們發現diallyl sulfide為低毒性物質且可誘導人類K562白血病細胞分化白血球/吞嗜細胞的能力如:增加NBT還原能力、降低細胞核細胞質比值、表現甲型腫瘤壞死因子等。我們建議diallyl sulfide將可提供人類白血病之新治療處方及治療指標。 |
英文摘要 | Garlic diallyl sulfide(DAS) is a promising agent with the potential to protect against cancer. In this study, we report that DAS can lower cytotoxic activity and induce granulocytic/ macrophagic differentiation of leukemia cells, such as increasing the NBT reduction acitivity of human leukemia K562 cells in presence of DAS, decreasing nucleous/cytoplasm ratio of K562 cells exposed to DAS, and resulting the TNF-α mRNA expression of K562 cells in presence of DAS for 5 days. We suggest that treatment with DAS may provide a new strategy for increasing the therapeutic index of human leukemia. |
