中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討箱用釘應用於三種主要商用闊葉木材上,有關比重、釘直徑、木材含水率對其釘接性能之影響。結果顯示,箱用釘在冰片樹之垂直引拔強度分別較油仔材及紅柳桉材高14.9及42.7%,而16d、10d釘之垂直引拔強度分別較6d釘高26.3及18.5%,含水率對垂直引拔強度影響最顯著者為紅柳桉,在生材狀態下之釘接效果僅為氣乾材之54.7%。在側向引拔強度方面,冰片樹與油仔材相近,其釘接效果又高於紅柳桉50.8%,而16d、10d釘接合之側向引拔強度分別較6d釘高109.2及39.2%。含水率對側向引拔強度影響最顯著者為冰片樹及油仔材,在生材狀態下之接合效果分別為氣乾材之77.0及77.8%。闊葉材之箱用釘垂直及側向引拔強度採用比重及釘直徑之多項式非線性迴歸估算可獲得高相關性。 |
英文摘要 | The effects of specific gravity, moisture content, and diameter of box nails on the nailing performance for three commercial hardwood species were investigation in this study. The results indicated that the withdrawal resistance of box nails from Kapur lumber was 14.9 and 42.7% higher than that of Keruing and Red Meranti lumber, respectively. And, the withdrawal resistance of 16d and 10d box nails tested from these hardwood lumbers was 26.3 and 18.5%, respectively, higher than that of 6d nails. The vertical withdrawal resistance of nails from Red Meranti lumber was significantly influenced by moisture content, in which strength measured from green specimens was 54.7% of that measured from air-dried specimens. On the other hand, both the lateral withdrawal resistance of box nails from Kapur and Keruing lumbers were close and 50.8% higher than that from Red Meranti lumber. The lateral resistance of 16d and 10d box nail joints was 109.2 and 39.2%, respectively, higher than that of 6d nails. Moisture content showed significant effect on the lateral withdrawal resistance of nail joints for both Kapur and Keruing lumbers, and there are 77.0 and 77.8%, respectively, for green state of lumber as compared to that of air-dried state. High correlation of multiple nonlinear regressions can be found between both capacities of vertical withdrawal and lateral withdrawal resistance of box nail joints with specific gravity and nail diameters for hardwood lumbers. |
