中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討家具用連接螺釘應用在木質板材上,有關導引孔徑、螺紋形式、接合部位及拆裝次數對其引拔強度之影響。結果顯示連接螺釘之引拔強度在木心板板面較側面高出約22.5%,較端面高出約32%。粒片板板面較端面高出68%,纖維板板面較端面高出61%。根據引拔強度的考量,導引孔徑應在釘身直徑的70-90%範圍內。在各木質板材之板面上導引孔徑以連接螺釘身直徑的70%(4.8 mm)為宜,在端面之導引孔徑以連接螺釘身直徑的75%(5.2 mm)為宜。連接螺釘應用在纖維板的引拔強度為最高,其板面之引拔強度較粒片板及木心板者高約38%,端面之引拔強度較木心板及粒片板者高27%~44%,木心板較粒片板者高13%。二種螺紋形式中,單螺紋連接螺釘在木心板面之引拔強度較高低螺紋螺釘高出105%,側面約高出49%,端面約高出31%。同時,在纖維板板面則單螺紋者較雙螺紋者約高出58%,纖維板端面約高出30%。粒片板板面約高出27%,粒片板端面約高出23%。在拆裝20次後木心板板面及端面之引拔強度分別降低44%及41%,在粒片板板面無明顯降低,在端面則降低24%,在纖維板板面無明顯降低,在端面則降低56%。 |
英文摘要 | The effects of pilot size, screw formation, panel orientation, and repeated assembly on the withdrawal resistance of connecting screw for wood composites in furniture manufacturing application were investigated in this study. Results indicated that the withdrawal resistance from panel face of lumber core plywood was 22.5% and 32% higher than those from panel ends and sides, respectively. The withdrawal resistance from panel faces was 68% and 61% higher than those from panael sides for particleboard (PB) and medium density fiberboard (MDF), respetively. The diameter of pilot hole should be between 70-90% of the connecting screw shank in consideration of withdrawal resistance. Furthermore, the optimum size of pilot hole for the connecting screw drilled into wood composite panel faces is 70% (4.8 mm) of the screw shank, and 75% (5.2 mm) for panel sides. The strongest withdrawal resistance from panel faces was found on the MDF application which was 38% higher than those of PB and lumber core plywood application, and similarly 27-44% from panel sides. The withdrawal resistance of single-threaded connecting screw driven into panel faces of the lumber core plywood was 105% higher than that of Hi-Lo threaded screw, 49% higher for the case of the sides, and 31% higher for ends. Similarly, the strength of the connection for MDF material was 58% and 30% higher for the cases of panel faces and side faces, respectively, and 27% and 23% higher for particleboard. The withdrawal resistance of connecting screws after repeatedly assembled for 20 times from lumber core plywood panel faces and sides were reduced about 44 and 41%, respectively. And, the reduction in strength was insignificant for panel faces of PB and MDF, while 24 and 56% reduction were found after repeated assembled into side faces for 20 times, respectively. |
