英文摘要 | Automatic Meter Reading System (AMRS) is developed based on the currently system of national telephone network. It belongs to the type of Dialoutbound meter reading system. Instead of traditional manual meter-reading method used by Utility Companies that requires huge marpower and expenses, AMRS reads the subscribers' meter-data automatically by adapting a no-ring method to connect subscriber's lines. If Utility Companies have established extensively AMRS, their economical efficiencies will be increased substantially. Besides, it will be most helpful to the country's "family-automation" and may create enormous profit. This paper describes the conceptual design of the AMRS. The contents include the system description, network transmission interface, system control technology and function introduction. In section 2, we will illustrate the AMRS and software structures and the communication interface among three sub-systems. In section 3 and 4, we will describe the factors of using Data Automatic Transfer System (DATS) and indicate the system procedures. |
