中文摘要 | 本研究之目的乃探討並描述教師對於四門為學生所最重視的必修英語文課程英語教學活動之見解。這四門課為「英語聽講」、「英語會話」、「英文文法」及英文寫作」。質性研究資料之搜集為兩所科技大學六位應用外語系之全職英語教師。資料之分析乃依循1999年Marshall 與Rossman 之深度訪談以及1998年Strauss 與Corbin 之據證理論。 從本研究六位英語教師訪談之結果,清楚地描述第一門課有六項英語教學活動,第二門課有六項,第三門課有兩項,而第四門課則有五項。文末並提出一些討論及建議。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to explore and describe teachers’ perspectives of the English teaching activities related to the four required English courses highly valued by their students. These were “English Listening,” “English Conversation,” “English Grammar,” and “English Writing.” Qualitative data from interviews with six full-time English teachers in the Applied Foreign Languages Departments at two universities of technology were collected. The analysis of the data followed the recommendations of Marshall and Rossman (1999) for in-depth interviewing, and Strauss and Corbin (1998) for grounded theory. From the results of the interviews with the six English teachers for this study, six teaching activities emerged from teachers’ perspectives on the first course, six activities on the second course, two activities on the third course, and five activities on the fourth course were clearly described. Some discussions and suggestions are proposed at the end of this study. |
