中文摘要 | 本研究之目的,在評量醫護專科學校學生之數學態度、影響護專學生數學態度的因素、態度改變的情形以及是否因性別而異?以提供課程安排及教學設計的參考。研究樣本為141名護專學生,取樣來自臺灣南部醫護專科學校學生。 本研究之測量工具「學生數學態度問卷」主要包括兩部份,一為學生數學態度量表,其內容有22題敘述句。一為影響學生數學態度形成的因素調查,其內容有喜歡與不喜歡數學之原因各九種及學生數學態度改變的情形。 本研究經實際問卷調查並將所得資料加以統計分析,主要結果發現: 1、護專學生具備數學態度的情形約有三分之一學生認為自己「對數學感到沒有信心」及五分之一「不明白數學有多大的用處」。相對的,有6%學生認為「數學是所有學科當中,最有趣的」及5%認為「數學使其振奮,所以比其他學科都喜歡」。 2、影響護專學生喜歡數學的最主要因素首推「數學可以增進思考能力」,次為「解答出問題的滿足感」。 3、影響不喜歡數學的最主要因素,依序為「不精於數學,學來吃力,無信心」、「有些看來不必要的教材,無法明白其價值」。 4、護專學生數學態度的改變是極為可能的。 5、護專男女學生對數學的態度並無顯著性差異。 |
英文摘要 | The aim of this study is to estimate nursing college students' attitudes toward Mathematics, factors affecting development of the attitudes and change of the attitudes as well as differences in the attitudes between male and female students. Findings of this study are provided as reference for the arrangement and teaching design of Mathematics course. The study is based on the samples of 141 students at health care college in the north of Taiwan. The questionnaires of this study include two parts. One is the scales of the attitude toward Mathematics consisting twenty-two statements, and the other is to investigate the factors affecting development of attitudes. Then through analysis of the information on the questionnaires answered by the sample students, the main findings are as follows: 1. 33% students think themselves as “no self-confidence toward Mathematics” and 25% as “no knowing the usefulness of Mathematics”. Oppositely, 6% students consider as “Mathematics is the most interesting of all objects.” and 5% consider as “Mathematics makes him exciting and he like it most of all.” 2. The first factor affecting development of the enjoyment attitudes is “Mathematics can help increase thinking ability.” and next is “I satisfy to solve some problems.” 3. Factors affecting development of the no enjoyment attitudes include: “Being not good at Mathematics, finding it hard to lean and losing self-confidence.” and “don't comprehend its value of some teaching material.” 4. Students' change of their attitudes is most possible. 5. There is no great difference in attitudes between male and female students. |
