英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to understand the opinions of 112 Taiwanese companies in current development of ergonomics curriculums and the future staff demand. The results showed that the most important topics of the ergonomics curriculums were safety and health (25.0%), human-machine system (23.2%), product design (17.9%), human performance and reliability (17.9%), and work physiology (7.1%). The recommended five key topic in curriculum development were safety and health, product design, human-machine system, human performance and reliability, and human information processing, with a percentage of 19.6%, 19.6%, 17.9%, 14.3%, and 8.9%, respectively. There were no obvious differences existed in the aforementioned two rankings. Moreover, there were 16.1% of companies that recruied ergonomic- related staffs ( five persons in product design and four in human-machine system ). Almost half companies (44.6%) replied they will recruit the ergonomic staff in the future, especially in the topics of vision and color, safety and health, human-machine system, and product design. Consequently, we suggested that ergonomics needed to be further promoted to Taiwanese companies. This study also provided some recommends from the business perspective for the development of ergonomics curriculums. |
