中文摘要 | 英國教育哲學作為教育學中的學術專業分支領域,可從倫敦大學教育學院設置教育哲學講座的1947年算起,迄今約有58年的時間。英國教育哲學在一群優秀而熱心的學者辛勤的耕耘下,逐漸茁壯,其影響力不僅及於整個英語世界,還進一步伸展到世界各地。經過本文研究歸納,英國教育哲學的研究有下列幾項特色:1)專業取向。2)多元取向。3)分析作為該學科研究訓練的基本方法。4)注意與教育學分支學科的交學研究興起的背景與成為專業分支學科研究的由來與發展情況;接著,我們從英國近幾年來《教育哲學學報》的期刊內容,歸納出英國教育哲學研究的方向與特色;最後的結論,則以英國教育哲學發展的模式和軌跡來作為我國教育哲學研究往專業之路邁進的學習典範和借鏡。 |
英文摘要 | The rise of philosophy of education research as a separate discipline in Educational Studies in the UK may be dated back to 1947 when the chair in Philosophy of Education was established at the Institute of Education, University of London. The British philosophy of education has made a great Progress since then, and it has made great contributions not only to the English speaking world, but also to the whole world. The author has found the following features in the British philosophy of education research: a) professional oriented; b) pluralistic oriented; c) analytic oriented; d) interdisciplinary oriented. The paper consists of four parts: 1) a brief sketch of the scope and methodology of this investigation; 2) a detailed investigation of the rise and development of the British philosophy of education research; 3) characterization of the British philosophy of education research based on a review of the Journal of Philosophy of Education in the recent three years; 4) a conclusion with a reflection on what can we learn from the British philosophy of education research. |
