中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討音樂劇用於英文課堂之可行性。研究者選取兩齣百老匯音樂劇作為教材,在大一英文課中,規劃出為期八週的「看音樂劇學英文」課程。經由課室觀察及訪談,發現在音樂劇課程實施期間,課堂參與度有顯著提升;大多數學生對此另類的英語學習題材持正向態度,認為有助於提升學習動機。 |
英文摘要 | The action research approach was used as the basis of this study to examine the feasibility of using Broadway musicals as an alternative EFL material. 114 Taiwanese university freshmen were involved in an eight-week Broadway musical course developed by the researchers. Classroom observations and interviews were used when appropriate before, during, and after the study as research tools to elicit students' attitudes toward this course. The results revealed that the majority of the students held positive attitudes toward the lessons. Students' active involvement also confirmed that Broadway musicals positively affected the learning process by increasing students' English learning motivation. |
