中文摘要 | 放電加工之極間狀態、對加工的穩定性具有舉足輕重的影響,若放電加工屑能有效率地自極間迅速排除,將可明顯提升放電加工的性能。因此;若能在極間施以磁力輔助,將可使懸浮在極間的加工屑受磁力的驅使而迅速帶離加工區域,避免聚積在極間而影響放電加工的穩定進行。本研究主要係以放電加工機附加磁力作用機構,探討附加磁力機構對放電加工特性的影響,在實驗中選擇放電電流及脈衝時間等放電加工主要參數,探討其對材料去除率、電極消耗率及表面粗糙度等加工特性的影響。本研究希望藉實驗分析方法,確立附加磁力作用機構對放電加工特性之影響,並釐清其對極間加工屑排除的貢獻,以便建立高效率、高精度及高品質之放電加工技術,以滿足現今產業對精密加工的需求。 |
英文摘要 | The gap conditions of electrical discharge machining (EDM) would significantly affect the machining stability. Thus, the machining performances would improve as the debris was expelled from the machining gap fast and easily. In this investigation, the magnetic poles were attached on the conventional machine of EDM to form a magnetic force in the machining gap to drive the debris expelled from gap fast and easily. The main machining parameters of EDM such as peak current and pulse duration were chosen to determine the effects on EDM machining characteristics as the material removal rate, electrode wear rate, and surface roughness. From the experimental study, the effects of attached magnetic poles on machining characteristics were determined. Moreover, the contribution of expelling debris through this experimental setup could also prove to attain high efficiency, high precision, and high quality process of EDM that would satisfy the modem industrial applications. |
