中文摘要 | 本研究以電解銅為電極對兩種最常用之商用超硬合金 (P10、K10) 進行放電加工實驗,實驗中變化放電加工參數,探討放電加工能量對材料去除率、電極消耗率及表面粗糙度等加工特性的影響;同時針對超硬合金放電加工時表面產生的裂紋及不同放電能量下加工屑的形態,進行實驗分析探討。由實驗的結果顯示超硬合金在較高的放電能量密度時擁有較佳的材料去除效率,但電極消耗率亦相對增加,加工屑的尺寸明顯的受到放電能量的影響;而超硬合金加工表面在較大的放電能量時,會產生明顯的龜裂現象。 |
英文摘要 | In this investigation, sintered tungsten carbides of Kl0 and P10 were machined by electrical discharge machining (EDM) with electrolytic copper electrode. The machining parameters of EDM were varied to explore the effects of electrical discharge energy on machining characteristics, such as material removal rate (MRR), electrode wear rate (EWR), and surface roughness. Moreover, the micro cracks on machined surface and the debris expelled from discharge gap were also investigated. From the experimental results shown, MRR increased as the discharge energy density was set at higher level, and EWR was increased relative to discharge energy density. The size of debris was also inf1uenced by discharge energy. Furthermore, the micro cracks were more obvious as the discharge energy was chosen at higher level. |
