中文摘要 | 本文為「新聞英文」教學研究,於課本報紙外,融入英美知名媒體之即時新聞於教學。補充網路報紙、廣播、和電視新聞,導引學生利用網路學習新聞英文。教學過程以行動研究進行,教學結束後施以問卷、筆試,將發現與前一年採用傳統教學班級比較,發現學生閱讀英文報紙、收聽英文新聞廣播、收看英文電視新聞能力及動機均有增加。 |
英文摘要 | The course of Journalistic English has usually been taught with textbooks and supplemental materials from printed newspapers and magazines. With the advance of network technology nowadays, this study tries to incorporate materials available on the Internet to enhance the quality of teaching through an action research. The written news, radio broadcasts, and TV broadcasts all online from prestigious news media in the US and UK have been integrated in the teaching of this study. In addition, two questionnaires and a written exam are also included to gather the research data. The final results, in comparison to a similar class taught earlier by the researcher in traditional format, indicate that students benefit from this integration of teaching as both of their learning and motivation are increased. |
