中文摘要 | 許多研究顯示攝取L-Arginine對於高脂血病人因血中高濃度膽固醇和LDL的氧化性所造成內皮細胞的傷害有降低的效果。本研究之目的旨在探討攝取L-Arginine的同時是否會影響到血漿脂質之濃度和LDL的抗氧化性。本試驗以10位高血脂之受試者,每天補充10g L-Arginine,並於攝取L-Arginine前與攝取後1、2個月個別抽血,測定其血清三酸甘油酯(TG)、總膽固醇(TC)、高密度脂蛋白膽固醇(HDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(LDL-C)及LDL氧化遲滯期(Lagphase)。實驗結果顯示每天補充10g L-Arginine可明顯降低血清TG、LDL-C之濃度、LDL-C/HDLC的比例(p<0.05)及顯著增加HDL-C的濃度(p<0.05),且可延長LDL氧化遲滯期(p<0.05),而血清TC濃度則有下降的趨勢(p<0.10)。因此,補充L-Arginine可調節血脂質,並增加LDL的抗氧化性,而似乎可降低産生動脈粥狀硬化的危險因子。 |
英文摘要 | Many studies observed that L-arginine could decrease the damage of endothelium cells in hyperlipidemic patients with high serum cholesterol concentration and LDL oxidation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of L-agrinine on the concentrations of serum lipids and the LDL oxidation. Ten hyperlipidemic patients were drawn blood to measure serum triacylglycerol (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and lag phase of LDL oxidation before and after intake l0g L-arginine a day for 1 and 2 months. Results of the study showed that the serum TG, LDL-C levels and the ratio of LDLC/HDL-C were decreased in hyperlipidemic patients with L-arginine supplementation (p<0.05). L-arginine supplement also reduced serum TC levels slightly (p<0.10). This study revealed that the Larginine supplement could increase HDL-C concentration and prolong lag time of LDL oxidation (p<0.05). Results of the study suggested that supplementation of L-arginine can modify serum lipids and depress LDL oxidation in hyperlipidemic patients. So, it may reduce the risk of atherosclerosis generation. |
