中文摘要 | 目的:研究口腔鱗狀上皮細胞癌細胞中M23-H1基因之表現與疾病進展之關聯性。材料與方法:收集大林慈濟綜合醫院2000年至2002年,口腔鱗狀上皮細胞癌病患中,接受腫瘤治療及廣泛切除和頸部淋巴結切除手術,病歷資料和病理切片保存完整的46位病患。(男:女=43:3,年齡:33~38歲、平均54.32歲,頰黏膜22例、舌13例、牙齦11例)。將腫瘤細胞用免疫組織化學分析的方法,研究NM23-H1基因的表現。結果:46位病患整體NM23-H1基因表現是些微增強的(佔54.3%、共25位)。就性別、口腔鱗狀上皮細胞癌部位(頰黏膜、舌或牙齦)、腫瘤分化程度、有無頸部淋巴結轉移、有無遠端轉移,來分析NM23-H1基因表現的強弱,經卡方檢定分析結果並無統計上有意義之區別。結論:本研究歸納出NM23-H1基因在口腔鱗狀上皮細胞癌中有些微較強的表現;但就臨床上而言、口腔鱗狀上皮細胞癌細胞NM23-H1基因的表現有無可行性當作預測腫瘤頸部淋巴結轉移的指標,在本研究中則無法得到進一步的證實。 |
英文摘要 | Objective: To evaluate the relationship between the MN23-H1 gene product and the disease of oral squamous cell carcinoma. Materials and Methods: Fourty-six subjects who had received tumor ablation surgery and had complete medical records of the oral squamous cell carcinoma (male/femal: 43/3; age: 33-88 years old, average, 54.32 years old; buccal mucosa, 22 cases; tongue, 13 cases; and gingival, 11 cases) were elected from 2000 to 2002 in Buddhist Dalin Tzu Chi General Hospital, Taiwan . expressions of the NM23-H1 gene in theses tumor cells were analyzed immunohistochemically. Results: The results show that the expression of the NM23-H1gene was slightly increased in these 46 cases. There were 25 cases (54.3%) which exhibited positive staining. After analyzing these data with X2 analysis, expression of the NM23-H1 gene was not statistically related to gender (male or female), site (buccal mucosa, tongue, or gingival), tumor differentiation (well or non-well), neck lymph nodes metastasis (yes or no), or distant metastasis (yes or no) (p>0.05). Conclusions: This study shows that expression of the NM23-H1 gene was slightly increased in oral squamous cell carcinoma, but failed to show a clinically, the predictable relationship between neck lymph node metastasis and NM23-H1 gene expression. |
