中文摘要 | 本研究主要在探討RE (La-rich misch metal) 及熱擠型法對Mg-8Al鎂合金顯微組織、機械性質和變形能力之效應。首先利用真空感應熔煉爐 (VIM) 於氬氣之保護氣氛下得到高清靜度的鑄錠,而後以間接熱擠型法,在673K (360°C) 的溫度下擠製成3mm厚之薄板,其擠型比 (面積比) 為90:1。以CNC銑床方式製作片狀試片,之後,拉伸試片沒有再做任何進一步的處理,直接進行高溫單軸拉伸性質測試。拉伸測試是在空氣爐中以等夾頭速率方式進行,其測試之溫度範圍為473 ~ 723K (200 ~ 450°C),初始應變速率範圍為8.3 x 10-4 ~ 8.3 x 10-1 s-1。本研究的結果除對於在Mg-Al鎂合金應用領域中,欲瞭解這些合金之顯微組織、機械性質和變形能力的工作者將有非常大的幫助外,另外,為了評估這些鎂合金在熱加工 (hot working) 時的流變應力,藉著Z (Zener-Hollomon parameter) 值導出一通用公式,並從統計觀點探討了此公式的正確性以供業界實作時參考之用。 |
英文摘要 | Effects of adding RE (La-rich Misch Metal) and hot extrusion on the microstructure, mechanical properties and deformation capacity of Mg-8Al alloy were investigated. The alloys were prepared by melting and casting in a vacuum induction furnace in an atmosphere of Ar gas, and then extruded to sheets with a thickness of 3mm at 633K (360°C). The extrusion ratio was 90:1. Tensile specimens were machined from the as-extruded sheets without any further treatments. The dimensions of the gage were 10 x 6 x 3mm3. Tensile tests were performed at temperatures ranging from 473 ~ 723K (200 ~ 450°C) at strain rates ranging from 8.3 x 10-4 to 8.3 x 10-1 s-1. The specimens were held for 6 x 102 s to equilibrate at the test temperatures before they were strained. The systematically investigated data in the paper is very useful to the people working in the field of Mg-Al alloy applications for understanding the microstructure, mechanical properties and deformation capacity of Mg-8Al alloy. Zener-Hollomon parameter Z was derived to evaluate the flow stress of these magnesium alloys at various temperatures and strain rates. |
