中文摘要 | 甲醛是接觸性皮膚炎中常見的過敏原。一般認為大部分甲醛的過敏來自於皮膚保養用品。在台灣,市售的洗髮精及皮膚保養用品的甲醛含量並無標示於仿單上,會引起接觸性皮膚炎的含甲醛物質往往不易被辨識出來。有許多簡便的方法可檢定甲醛濃度。我們利用高效率液相層析儀(High performance liquid chromatography)方法分析市場上可見的之57種化妝口、皮膚保養用品,及35種洗髮精的甲醛含量。結果發現24.6%的化妝品及保養用品的甲醛含量>500 ppm。洗髮精的甲醛含量遠小於化妝品及保養用品的甲醛含量。在35種洗髮精中,只有14.3%的甲醛濃度大於之50 ppm,其最高值為149 ppm。此外,我譬也探討可用來檢定甲醛含量的方法。 |
英文摘要 | Formaldehyde (FA) is a common source of allergic contact dermatitis. The source of FA expo- sure is often difficult to be elucidated. It is generally agreed that the most frequent FA exposure source is cosmetics. The 2,4-dinitrophenyhydrazine (2,4-DNPH) derivatization method followed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis was used to determine the FA content in some commercial products in the Taiwan market. 57 skin care cosmetics and 35 hair shampoos were exam- ined. It was shown that 24.6% of the skin care cosmetics contained a FA content > 500 ppm. The FA level in shampoos were much less than that in skin care cosmetics. Of the 35 shampoos investigated, only 14.3% contained a FA level > 50 ppm, with a maximal level of 149 ppm. Convenient methods for determining FA were also briefly reviewed in this article. |
