中文摘要 | 在唐初一陣反佛聲浪中,《內德論》負起了護佛的功用,對於重視三綱五常,忠 孝倫理的儒家,是否造成衝擊?而其中面臨的困境是什麼?要如何處理及解決呢?這些都是 本文所要探討的。 首先《內德論》是以宗教社會學的觀點來顯示佛教有裨益社會的功能,同時說明佛教的宗教 道德和儒家的處世哲學有著相輔相成的關係,從倫理的意義而言,佛教和儒家在現實作用上 ,可說是目標一致,沒有分別的。其次提出因果報應的思想,質疑儒家不合理的果報觀,並 以三世輪迴及業力緣起來做為儒家果報觀的補充及調整,而這種因果報應說也正是宗教倫理 道德的原動力。最後提出空有論,就是用〞空〞來破除世俗所執的常有,又用〞有〞來掃蕩 人們所執的空無,所以不落入有,也不落入無,但其實《內德論》所主張的〞既有既無,不 有不無〞,這當中的〞有〞和〞空〞在現實的意義上是相同的,因為它最終的目的不是在探 討佛教哲理的問題,而是將之視為實踐道德時的方便法。 |
英文摘要 | In the early part of Dang Dynasty, a wave of anti-Buddha was continuing. At this moment, "Nei De Lun" took the responsibility of protecting and remaining the Buddha. Did it have an impact on Confucianism that emphasized "the three cardinal guides and the five constant virtues as specified in the feudal ethical" and "the teachings of loyalty and filial piety"? What's the struggle that it was going to face? And how to deal with these problems? These are what I try to find out in this article. Firstly, "Nei De Lun" advocated that Buddha proved of great benefit to society from the viewpoint of religious sociology. In the meanwhile, it also explained the connection between religious morality and morality of this mortal world. From the meaning of ethics, we might say the Buddha and Confucianism had the same goals. Both of them were indiscriminate on reality. Secondly, "Nei De Lun" raised the concept of "retribution for sin" and questioned the unreasonable "theory of causation" which was posed by Confucianism. Furthermore, it also advanced "samsara" and "karma" as the supplementary of "theory of causation" However this was exactly the prime power of religious morality. Lastly, "Nei De Lun" advocated "Kong You Lun". It pointed out that "emptiness" could get rid of attachment in the secularity. On the other hand, "form" could also wipe out the emptiness that people were too attached to being a certain way. "Kong You Lun" was as if it were and yet weren't there. Actually, the meaning of "Nei De Lun" and "Kong You Lun" basically were the same. Its purpose was an expedient method but not to explore Buddhistic philosophyl. |
