英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to investigate sixth grade students' understanding on number density in order to help teachers have a better understanding of difficulties students encountered when solving number density problems. It also might be beneficial to curriculum designers and researchers interested in creating number sense activities to implement and improvement the mathematics teaching. Interview results indicated that most of students are lack of understanding on number density. Especially, the question that there are infinite fractions between two fractions is more difficult for sixth grade students. |
